Testing blogging on a new device.

Haven't been updating my blog in a while. Been traveling around for 3 weeks and preparing myself for a brand new life. Anyway, I'll try to upload a few pics drawn on the pad using sketchbook pro. I'm still far behind but practice makes perfect.

I hope this turns out well. Haha.

Samus Aran drawn on the iPhone using brushes

I got bored watching the match between Japan vs Paraguay and decided, hey! I should draw something. Took me quite a while to finish it up. Couldnt be bothered to even color it. May I present, my favourite character when I was a kid playing the dot matrix Nintendo GameBoy, Samus Aran .

P/S: I always thought Samus was a he til about a few years back when I discovered Samus is a she. Haha.

light painting? imagine it as a mini movie.

Light painting or commonly known as light graffiti is a technique used in photography in which exposures are made during the night or a pitch black environment by moving a light source (flashlights, led lights, glow sticks) or by moving the camera when snapping at a slow shutter speed. Technical terms aside, can you imagine it as a movie? Continuous frame by frame of slow shutter light painting shots in sequence. According to the director, this 1 min mini movie took for a total of approximately 13 hours of shooting over a duration of 2 days. Hefty work but the final product was nevertheless astonishing and not forgetting, it's hilarious.

enjoi! =)

Hey Marty Mcfly, Welcome Back to the Future: The Hoverboard

Recently, a French artist Nils Guadagnin invented what seems to be the impossible: the hoverboard. Don't expect anything much as seen on Back To The Future II because it's primary feature is only for the hoverboard to float. Technically, the board floats through simple electromagnetism and a laser stabilization system that aligns the magnets on both circle below the hoverboard.

Please note that this is not a fake or done by after effects. here is the video that might be the next revolution in skateboarding. enjoi!

The Creed Lives On With Brotherhood

Rumor has it that this particular picture was photoshopped to gain attention from die-hard Assassin's Creed fans.

When Ubisoft recently confirmed that this picture is authentic and that the company will be releasing this game this fall. The game is a continuation of its predecessor, Assassin's Creed 2, telling a story of Ezio Auditore as a master assassin and his clan of assassins.

Remember that part in the game, before you start your final memory mission of assassinating Rodrigo, the pope that has access to the vault that contains the true secret of life? Minerva and all that jazz about pieces of Eden and how Desmond needs to save humanity for the greater good? Sorry for the spoilers for those who hasn't played the game. lol. Yeah. Those people who were there to assist and aid Ezio to become who he was destined to be. Fox, Uncle Mario, and the rest will be included in the new upcoming game. Ubisoft also stated that this game will incorperate multiplayer platform to the franchise (which is the first). Your style of assasinating will define who you are in the game. Can't wait for this. Here's a clearer version of Ezio and his assassins brotherhood.

Coming to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 this fall. =)

taking blogging to the next level: mobility remix

Testing this new app i've acquired in conjunction with updating wastedpix3ls. Wondering how it the final version looks like because with i have limited areas and resources to work with and at discomfort of typing on touch screens. Lord save me. lol.

So, this is a TEST. Do not be alarmed.

Edit: testing another app to test it's compatibility to my needs and creativity. Perhaps this one does justice compared to the previous. Still in testing stage, time will tell as comfort and familiarization takes over.

What Happens After Game Over? "Greedy People Deserves Each Other"

remember back then when you were playing a 2D side scrolling adventure game? what was it? Super Mario? Prince of Persia? in every story told in these games, there's always a belle femme being captured and needed to be rescued from the forces of evil. either by big brutal dragons or a crazy madman utilizing magic powers to kill you at your disposal. remember the struggle you had to go through progressing every level?

super mario

prince of persia

being stuck at a level for hours trying to minimize your deaths when you had only 3 lives to begin with? knowing that your character is in love with her and would do almost anything to
save her life and to know how the story ends. normally, when you rescued the princess, the curtain calls and the credits starts rolling out with little depth of what happens next.

introducing, dan the man by studioJOHO. an animation production company that is based in Brisbane, Australia created this masterpiece to tell the after "ever after" story of a hero who went through all the struggles to save his destined princess and later to find out that life after saving her was utter hell. the video was developed entirely to replicate

a 2d side scrolling game with authentic sounds, alerts, game options, visuals, environment and playability from an old retro game. the usual that you would see from an NES game. very fun and entertaining to see how girls in reality are set in retro games.

and as far as my love for 8-bit/pixel art is concern, this is my personal favorite. enjoi! =D

greedy people are meant for each other

game over!

word of advice, never save princesses. lol =p

You Sexy Beast: Porsche 918 Spyder

don't you just love the shape of sexy machinery? *orgasmed*

this baby right here looks like a cross breed between Lamborghini LP640 + Porsche Carrera GT + Audi R8. The Porsche 918 Spyder is powered by a 500hp v8 engine and a pair of electric motors to produce additional juice of 218hp. that's 718hp! going from 0-100 in less than 3.2sec. fuel consumption for this hybrid beast is about 3 liters per 100 km on moderate driving and when running on electric power, it can go up to about 25km.

gotta love the touch panel surface on the middle console of the beast. which reminds me of Logitech's Harmony One with an addition of a dialing knob.

lol =p

oh well, how can u not love this? this is what i call, "My Kind Of Prius". LMAO.
